Details for Presenters

Oral Presentations

Presenting authors must be registered for the conference. Registration can be done online.

Microsoft PowerPoint presentations should be prepared in Widescreen (16:9) format for optimal viewing.

Presenting authors are required to bring their presentation to the staff of ISAG 2025, no less than 2 hours prior to their presentation time. If you are presenting first thing in the morning, it is advisable to bring your presentation the day before.

If your presentation includes embedded video or audio clips, we strongly recommend that you bring these clips with you on a memory stick as a backup. This will allow the technician to assist with re-embedding them into your presentation if they do not work effectively.

If your presentation is prepared on a Mac, please allow a bit of extra time to ensure it runs properly on a Windows machine. In some cases, you may be required to use your own Mac, so please carry your convertor cables and adaptors with you. Please note that it is not ideal for speakers to use their own laptops, and this should be avoided whenever possible to eliminate unnecessary time delays.

Qualified technicians will be available in all the meeting rooms to assist you if needed.

Poster Presentations

Presenting authors must be registered for the conference. Registration can be done online.

All posters must conform to the following guidelines:

Paper Size: A0 – 841mm × 1,189 mm PORTRAIT.

Layout: A poster should include a clearly visible title at the top center, followed by author and affiliation information underneath, including e-mail address or addresses.

Graphics: Effective visual display of information is essential in a poster presentation. To achieve this goal, authors should concentrate on two or three main points and should prefer graphic displays over text to illustrate their message effectively. Overall, a poster should have more graphics than text. In addition, graphics should be simple to understand, with contrasting colors and no grid lines.

Text: Poster text should be easily readable from a distance of 1-2 meters, and 1.5 or 2 lines of spaces should be used between each line. It is advised that authors should also pay attention to the following points:

  1. Headings should be 25% larger than normal text. Bold font and colors may be used.
  2. Text should be kept to a minimum, and each block of text should include no more than a few sentences.
  3. Larger-than-usual fonts may be used in Results and Discussion sections to draw attention, whereas smaller fonts may be preferred for Methods.
  4. Smaller fonts may be used for citations and acknowledgements.
  5. Suggested font sizes are
    • Main title: 78-96 pt (bold, uppercase)
    • Author(s): 72 pt (bold, title case)
    • Affiliation(s): 48 pt (normal, title case)
    • Subheading: 36 pt (bold, uppercase)
    • Sub-Subheading: 30 pt (bold, title case)
    • Body text: 24 pt (normal)

Please carry double-sided tape to stick up your poster. The congress organizers will provide Prestik (adhesive putty) as a backup.
